PartsPlan MCP Terms of Service
These terms apply to the PartsPlan MCP/API service provided by Dabit. This English text is a translation; the Korean version prevails.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the PartsPlan MCP service (the "Service") provided by Dabit, a sole proprietorship owned by Yongjin Kim (the "Company"), and the rights and obligations of the Company and users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means the online service that lets AI agents and similar clients retrieve, via MCP (Model Context Protocol) or API, the location and content of electronic component datasheets and information grounded in them.
- "User" means an individual or business that agrees to these terms and uses the Service with an account and an API key.
- "API key" means the string the Company issues to identify and authenticate use of the Service.
- "Response" means any result the Service returns to a request (document lists, maps, source excerpts, page images, graph values, candidate values, etc.).
Article 3 (Posting and changes)
- The Company posts these terms on the Service.
- The Company may amend these terms within the limits of applicable law and will announce changes 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to users).
- Continued use after amended terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
- Changes unfavorable to users are also notified individually, by email or similar means.
Article 4 (Accounts and API keys)
- Users may obtain API keys after signing up (email or Google account). The number of active keys is capped.
- API keys and AI apps connected to an account may be used only by the user they were issued to (under an organization agreement, members designated by the contracting organization) and may not be transferred, shared, or sold.
- Users are responsible for keeping keys secure and must revoke a key and issue a new one if leakage is suspected. Usage and damages arising from poor key management are borne by the user.
Article 5 (Scope of plans)
- The Free and Personal plans are for one user using their own account, and the Personal plan is paid for in the user's personal name.
- Payment in the name of a corporation or other organization, or a need for tax invoices or organization-level billing, requires an organization agreement with the Company.
- Integrating the Service into an organization's systems (design automation, PLM/ERP or internal tool integration, batch processing, etc.) to process requests from multiple people or customers automatically requires an organization agreement with the Company. This does not apply to a user performing their own work with their own AI client or scripts.
- Providing functionality that uses the Service to customers or other third parties outside the organization as a product or service (including building it into products, API relaying, resale and white-labeling) requires a partner agreement with the Company, whether paid or free, and regardless of whether Responses are stored, summarized, or transformed.
- A continuing need for usage beyond the Personal plan's limits requires an organization agreement with the Company.
- Fees and conditions for the agreements in paragraphs 2 through 5 are set by agreement with the Company. The scope of use set out in a separate agreement prevails, and a separate agreement does not transfer manufacturers' rights to datasheet source text.
Article 6 (Nature of the Service)
- The core of the Service is locating and delivering datasheet source text and where it is. The Company endeavors to present as fact only what is confirmed in the source; unconfirmed content is withheld or labeled "candidate / estimated / unverified".
- Responses include the output of automated processing and may contain errors or omissions. The datasheet source prevails over any Response.
- The Company does not judge or warrant the suitability of parts, the safety or performance of circuits, or compliance with standards or certifications.
- The Service does not provide stock, price, or lead-time information unless expressly indicated.
Article 7 (User responsibility)
- Design, purchasing, and production decisions and their verification are the user's responsibility. Users must check the cited source (document and page) before relying on a Response, and must perform independent verification for high-risk uses such as safety, medical, automotive, or aerospace.
- Users must use the Service in compliance with applicable law, these terms, and the rights of datasheet manufacturers.
Article 8 (Prohibited conduct)
- Systematically collecting or copying the Service or Responses to build a database, or providing or selling it to third parties
- Using the Service to build or improve a competing service, or using Responses in bulk as training data for another service
- Sharing or reselling API keys, or circumventing usage limits with multiple accounts or keys
- Sending requests beyond normal use by automated means so as to disrupt the Service
- Circumventing security measures or exploiting vulnerabilities
- Redistributing datasheet source text contained in Responses in a way that infringes manufacturers' rights
Article 9 (Usage limits and enforcement)
- Usage limits per plan (calls per minute, hour, day, etc.) follow the plan description.
- Requests over a limit may be temporarily refused.
- If prohibited conduct (Article 8) is suspected, the Company may suspend the key first and will promptly notify the user of the reason and how to object. The Company may terminate the account once the violation is confirmed.
- If use outside the scope of the user's plan (Article 5) is confirmed, the Company may notify the user and, setting a period of at least 14 days, ask the user to move to a separate agreement or stop that use. If it is not remedied within that period, the Company may restrict use or terminate the account.
- The Company may analyze usage records (request time, tool, documents retrieved, etc.) to confirm the matters in paragraphs 3 and 4.
Article 10 (Fees and payment)
- Fees, billing cycle, and payment methods for paid plans follow the plan description.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Users may cancel at any time before the next billing date and keep access until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds follow applicable law and the Company's refund policy. Digital services already provided (elapsed period and calls used) are in principle not refundable.
- For orders placed outside Korea, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem (operated by Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia). Creem is the Merchant of Record and reseller for those orders; Creem handles payment, taxes, invoicing and refunds, and Creem's terms also apply to those transactions.
- Fees, limits, support scope and payment methods for organization and partner agreements are set by agreement with the Company and may be billed by tax invoice.
Article 11 (Changes and interruptions)
- The Company may change the Service (tools, response formats, limits) for operational or technical reasons and will announce material changes in advance.
- The Service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, failures, or force majeure. No availability is guaranteed on the free plan.
Article 12 (Limitation of liability)
- The Company does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of Responses.
- The Company is not liable for damages arising from use of Responses without verification, or from the user's design, purchasing, or production decisions, except in cases of the Company's intent or gross negligence.
- Where the Company is liable, damages shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by the user to the Company in the 12 months before the damage occurred (except where the law does not permit such limitation).
- The Company is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages (lost profits, production stoppage, rework costs, etc.).
Article 13 (Intellectual property)
- Rights to the Service and to the composition and processed results of Responses (document maps, indexes, judgments, etc.) belong to the Company.
- Rights to datasheet source text belong to each manufacturer. The Company provides the location of the source and quotation to the extent necessary.
- If a manufacturer or other rights holder asks us to remove or correct a datasheet, or to replace it with the latest revision, the Company will act without delay after verifying the request. Please send requests to hello@partsplanai.com.
- Users may use Responses to the extent needed for their own design work.
Article 14 (Personal information)
Personal information is processed under the Company's privacy policy.
Article 15 (Termination)
- Users may revoke keys and withdraw at any time from the account page.
- The Company may terminate the agreement if a user materially breaches these terms.
Article 16 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes shall be resolved by the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
